The space

On Ipsilantou Street, steps from the Evangelismos metro station, this fully renovated 65 m² two-bedroom apartment makes downtown Athens effortless — step off the metro and you are practically home, with Kolonaki's cafés and the Byzantine Museum on your doorstep. The living space runs from a fully equipped kitchen to a sitting area with a three-seat sofa, a 55-inch TV with Netflix and a dedicated workspace. The balcony looks over Ipsilantou Street — swing chair included. Bedroom A has a queen bed (160 × 200 cm), a large wardrobe, a vanity and its own air-conditioning unit, with balcony access. Bedroom B adapts to how you travel: a second bedroom, a private office, or extra space for a family. The bathroom is finished in Greek marble, with a walk-in shower and a concealed washer-dryer. The apartment sleeps up to six. Check-in is self-service with a lockbox, and we — Sissi and Galinos, your hosts — live in the neighbourhood and are a message away throughout your stay. Pets are welcome.

Questions about this apartment

How far is Evangelismos metro from the apartment?

It's just steps away: Evangelismos metro is around the corner, one short block from the door. That puts you on the metro in a couple of minutes and within a 10 to 15 minute walk of Syntagma Square and the centre of Athens.

Is the apartment close to the Athens city centre and the main sights?

Very close. Kolonaki sits in the centre of Athens. Syntagma Square is a 10 to 15 minute walk or one metro stop, the Byzantine and Cycladic museums are minutes away, and Plaka and the Acropolis are about 25 to 30 minutes on foot or a short metro ride from Evangelismos station around the corner.

Does it sleep 6, and is it good for families?

Yes. The apartment sleeps up to 6 across two bedrooms and a flexible living space, with a real kitchen, a washer/dryer and a crib on request. It works well for families and small groups who want room to spread out in a calm, central Kolonaki street.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are welcome in both of our Kolonaki apartments. Just let us know you're travelling with a pet when you book so we can make sure everything is ready for your arrival.

How do I check in?

Check-in is self check-in via a lockbox, so you can arrive whenever suits you with no waiting around. We send full directions and the access code in advance, and Sissi & Galinos are always reachable if you need a hand.

Where do you recommend for food and groceries nearby?

You're in the heart of Kolonaki. There's a Friday farmers' market on Xenokratous Street (8am to 4pm), supermarkets like OK Market, Bazaar Market and Athina Market, handy mini-markets and a 24-hour kiosk on Xenokratous, plus local bakeries: Bakery Lykavittos, Queen Bee and Apollonion, all a short walk from the door.
