The space
Set on a quiet stretch of Deinokratous Street in the Kolonaki area — downtown Athens at its most refined — this fully renovated 78 m² one-bedroom apartment puts the whole city within walking distance. The Lycabettus funicular is 100 metres from the front door; Syntagma Square is a 15-minute walk. The apartment occupies the second floor of a 1970s residential building, renovated top to bottom in 2021. The living room pairs a comfortable sofa with a dining area and a work-friendly corner; the kitchen is fully equipped, from the oven and dishwasher to a Nespresso machine. The bedroom has a quality double bed, and the apartment sleeps up to three. The bathroom is finished in stone with a walk-in shower, and the washer-dryer means you can pack light. In the warm months, the balcony over the leafy street is where mornings start. Check-in is self-service with a lockbox, and we — Sissi and Galinos, your hosts — live in the neighbourhood and are a message away throughout your stay. Pets are welcome.

Is the apartment close to downtown Athens and Syntagma Square?
Yes, Kolonaki is part of downtown Athens, and the apartment is a 10 to 15 minute walk from Syntagma Square. Plaka is about 25 minutes on foot, and the Acropolis roughly 30 minutes on foot or 15 by metro, so you stay on a quiet residential street with the city centre on your doorstep.
